Normalize volume on MP3 audio files using MP3Gain
Do you have a large MP3 music collection that you either downloaded off the Internet or ripped from CD? If you do, you probably noticed that many songs are recorded at different bitrates and are either really loud or really low compared to a normal MP3 recording.
This is very annoying because if you are listening to a random selection of music, you have to constantly adjust your speakers either up or down because of the variation in sound level between the MP3 files. So can anything do done?
MP3Gain is a great freeware program that will analyze and adjust a collection of MP3 files so that they all have the same volume! This is one of my favorite freeware programs because I can now listen to all my music without worrying about one song blowing out my speakers.
